Tell Me What You Want to See in ACCESS Points with Dr. Clark!
Hello ACCESS Points community,
Thank you for being here! I’m thrilled to launch this space with people who, like me, are passionate about building workplaces where well-being, authenticity, and strategic growth drive our success. ACCESS Points is here to give you practical tools, insightful strategies, and the motivation to bring positive change into both your life and your work environments. Now, I want to ensure this space reflects what’s most valuable to you.
What Would You Like to Dive Into?
In our first post, I introduced the vision behind ACCESS Points—a movement for organizational health that meets real-life impact. But as we continue, I want to dig deeper into the topics and questions that resonate most with you. Here’s an idea of where we could go:
Organizational Health & Resilient Workplaces
One of my primary goals with ACCESS Points is to explore the principles of organizational health. I want to talk about building a culture where people not only feel valued but are motivated to bring their best every day. What specific areas would help you thrive? Whether it’s stress management, leadership resilience, or workplace culture transformation, share what resonates most with you.
DEIAB in Action
As an expert in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIAB), I’m here to offer you meaningful strategies for creating equitable spaces. If you’re dealing with barriers, pushing for change, or just starting on this path, let me know what you’d like to explore. ACCESS Points can be a resource for actionable guidance on policies, navigating inclusivity challenges, and developing a culture of belonging.
Personal & Leadership Growth
Thriving in your career goes beyond technical skills—it’s about honing emotional intelligence, building personal resilience, and authentically leading others. I’d love to share strategies for developing these areas, and even stories from my journey as a leader. Tell me what you’re facing in your personal growth journey, and I’ll provide insights to help you navigate and rise.
Consumer Engagement & Popular Culture Insights
As Chief Strategist for Popular Culture and Consumer Engagement at George Mason University, I study the ways consumer culture shapes us and how we shape it. If you’re interested in brand authenticity, storytelling, or understanding the impact of culture on engagement, this could be a valuable area to explore together.
How ACCESS Points Can Be a Resource for You
My mission is to equip every subscriber with actionable takeaways and a sense of purpose. ACCESS Points is not just about concepts—it’s about learning skills you can apply to improve your life and work. Whether you’re a leader, an aspiring changemaker, or simply someone seeking more fulfillment, my goal is for this newsletter to become a toolkit that fuels your success.
So, what topics are you most excited about? What areas would help you make the greatest impact? Drop a comment or reply directly—I’m looking forward to tailoring ACCESS Points to be a resource that serves your needs.
Thank you for helping shape this community, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!
Warm regards,
Dr. Clark

I’m looking for long term strategy for change in academic organizations.
Right now all I do is agitate and deal with issues as they arise, mostly concerning students where I can have the most influence.
But as a professor my work on committees and as the person constantly yelling about our equity issues — for students faculty and staff — I’m wondering what tactics besides what my therapist calls “tanking” really work?
There’s a huge conversation here to be had clearly but that’s what I’m interested in overall.
Excited to be here.
Hi! I’m all about neurodiversity and chronic pain and illness, and a few things that come to mind right now are accommodations for autistic people and/or those with adhd, different ways to see a workday and redefining productivity, and how to make it work when you have painful flare ups and appointments without looking like you’re not taking your job seriously.
Also, differences in communication throughout the whole neurodiversity spectrum.
Ergonomics and accommodations are super important for those of us with musculoskeletal disorders, and not being made weird by others for it.
I’m also interested in seeing how we can make the workplace more inclusive for everyone and truly have a culture where you can be celebrated for what you bring to the table, even if it isn’t measured in conventional terms.
Those are some that come out of the top of my head, please feel free to play with me and send me in the right direction if I’m a bit off topic! Thank you ☺️
